Department of Physics, School of Natural Science
Department of Physics, School of Natural Science at SNIoE, is committed to providing excellent learning and research environment for motivated and ambitious students at an international level. We are doing fundamental and highly interdisciplinary research, from nanophysics to space physics. We are offering international research facilities, which include clean room facilities, material synthesis and characterization techniques, device fabrication techniques, laboratories dedicated to energy harvesting and storage research, and high-performance computational facilities, including a 8000 core cluster (“Magus”). We involve research collaborations across various research institutes inside and outside of India and also with industries. Our physics department has various Physics societies and clubs to nurture physics, provide platforms for discussing subjects of common interest and invite renowned national and international academicians and researchers to enrich scientific temperament within and outside SNIoE.
